The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were recently lambasted in an episode of adult animation South Park for their infamous Netflix series and memoir.

Part of its currently airing 26th season, 'The Worldwide Privacy Tour' reportedly left Meghan Markle "upset and overwhelmed" by her onscreen depiction - introduced by another character as a "sorority girl, actress, influencer, victim," according to reports.

A source told The Spectator that the 41 year old former actress is "annoyed by South Park but refuses to watch it all", while royal commentator Neil Sean informed Fox News this week: "It appears that, like so many things with Meghan and Harry, this may have legal ramifications attached.

"Their legal team are casting an eye over the episode to see what is wrong, and what could be turned into something more sinister."

Though they are not really the royals anymore, but Harry and Meghan are known as the 'Prince and Princess of Canada' in the South Park universe, a young royal couple talking about their lack of privacy while simultaneously drawing attention to themselves.

The Princess is even decked out in a similar pink outfit to Meghan's Trooping the Colour ensemble from 2018, while the red-headed Prince promotes his book 'Waaagh' - its front cover resembling Harry's own book Spare, which hit bookshelves last month.

In the episode, which even repurposes the death of Queen Elizabeth II into the death of the 'Queen of Canada', Stan Marsh goes on to brand these cartoonish equivalents the 'dumb prince and his stupid wife', before his green-hatted pal Kyle Broflovski complains about the private jet sat outside their home.

Attending the late Canadian queen's state funeral, the Prince and Princess are collectively booed by the royals, accusing them of spitting on the monarchy.

Responding to the critcism, the couple appear on the Good Morning Canada to demand their privacy.

"Stop looking at us!" reads a placard they show to the cameras.
