Miley Cyrus Confronted Mom Tish About Marrying Sister Noah's Ex Dominic Purcell

She had a heart-to-heart with her mom, Tish, after learning that Tish's new husband, Dominic Purcell, had a past relationship with her sister Noah.

The Hannah Montana star has been in the public eye for basically her entire life, and continues to make headlines to this day.

Miley Cyrus is no stranger to public attention, and it seems the drama just keeps coming, especially with the recent Grammy Awards incident involving her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, and now this new family twist.

PEOPLE Magazine recently dropped a bombshell, suggesting that before Tish Cyrus and Dominic Purcell tied the knot, Dominic had a 'relationship' with Noah Cyrus, Tish's younger daughter.

A source spilled the beans to PEOPLE, saying Miley was totally out of the loop about the 'drama' between Dominic and Noah and had a serious chat with her mom once she found out.

"Miley had no idea about the drama with Dominic. No idea at all," the source revealed to PEOPLE.

"She confronted her mom about it. She thinks it's a strange situation, but she loves her mom and wants her to be happy." 

The same PEOPLE report also mentioned that Noah felt 'offended' by the relationship between Dominic and her mom.

Digging deeper, a source claimed that Noah and Dominic had a casual thing going on, but it ended before Dominic and Tish started seeing each other.

"Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends with benefits way, off and on."

"They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up," the source explained.

And it turns out, 'Tish knew he had been seeing Noah,' adding another layer to the family drama.

The insider added a final note: "Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married."

When Tish and Dominic made it official in August 2023, Noah was noticeably absent from the celebration.

The backdrop to this is Tish's long and very public separation from Billy Ray Cyrus. 

Their divorce saga started in 2010, got called off, and then Tish filed for divorce again in 2013. 

Despite efforts to reconcile, Tish filed for divorce yet again in April 2022.

Wrapping up their chapter, they released a joint statement: 

"It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways — not with sadness, but with love in our hearts."
