Mom Caught Smoking Marijuana Infront Of Her 5-Year-Old

#1 Smoking Marijuana With Her Daughter On Her Lap

Mom, 24 was caught on Snapchat smoking marijuana with 5-year old on her lap. The woman also claims that she didn't do anything wrong. When talking to a media channel, the woman says that she grew up around it and it didn't do any harm to her so it will surely not affect it children too. "It was in my surroundings and I didn't get affected in any kind of way."

#2 Defends Her Actions

The young mom defends herself while being interviewed by the reporter, according to her the video was taken by her cousin while she was smoking the drugs. She further defensively claims that she is a good mother and looks after her kid's daily needs and necessities, "It just calms me. It mellows me out and that's it. "I still maintain to be able to cook and clean and do everything else that's necessary for my kids."

#3 She Doesn't Like Strangers Questioning Her Parenting

Though she doesn't believe she did anything wrong but she also does not like strangers questioning her parenting. Mom also says that the video was mistakenly uploaded to social media and it's not her error. "It's more common than you think," the mom said. "It's just not put out there on recorded video. That was a dumb mistake that was made by somebody else. Not my error."

#4 She Claims She Is A Good Mother

While speaking with the media representative, the woman claimed that if asked to her children they will represent her as a good mother and she has no qualms regarding it, "I feel like it was not an endangerment to my kids," she said. "If I felt like it was something that was going to harm my child in any way physically, mentally, emotionally, in any way like that, I wouldn't do it around my kid. My girls are five years old and they can speak for themselves and I know they would represent me as a great mother."

Mom also claims that her daughter was not in the room for long so it wouldn't have caused much harm to her.

#5 Not Worried About CPS Investigating Her

Mom, when asked about Child Protective Services investigating her for child neglect, said, "If CPS investigates me, it's OK for them to enter my home because I know my home is OK.”

#6 An Online Debate Going On Regarding The Issue

Ever since the video has been uploaded online it has sparked an online debate with many parents claiming the video is no big deal and are comparing it same as drinking. While other parents are criticising the young mom for exposing her kids to weed smoke at such young age.

One person commented, "Okay..lemme clear this up for a select few. When you say, "what's the big deal? People drink around their kids all the time"..First tf off, your babies are in the same room stupid! You know they catch a contact! It's clearly a choice you make..To smoke a joint/blunt/bong/pipe..Whaaaaaatever..just be a decent person and step in the other room or the closet like me." While another posted, "Those of you saying it’s the same as drinking around your child. It is not. My kids don’t get buzzed by osmosis. Kids can get high or buzzed by you smoking near them. This is what’s wrong with this generation, you guys think it’s ok. You also justify it by saying things like drinking and driving with kids, so you’re justifying it with something that’s clearly wrong? Pretty sure that makes you wrong. I’m all for making it legal, but smoking it where it can have an affect on them, that’s just horrible parenting. Your children are more precious then you and they should be treated as such."
