20 of Kristina Ozturk's children were born within just over a year of each other
A 26-year-old mom has shocked the world by revealing she already has 22 biological children and dreams of having as many as 100 kids in total.
While raising even one child is a feat that many find challenging, Kristina Ozturk has gone far beyond that, taking on the monumental task of caring for nearly two dozen little ones.
The Russian-born mom shares her family with millionaire businessman Galip Ozturk.
The couple spends a significant amount of money each year employing nannies to help care for the children, most of whom were born with the help of surrogates.
Galip also has children from a previous relationship, but the couple’s shared family includes 22 kids born biologically to Kristina through surrogacy.
Between March 2020 and July 2021, they paid an estimated $180,000 to surrogates, resulting in their unique and fast-growing family, which includes Victoria, Mustafa, Maryam, Ayrin, Alice, Hassan, Judy, Harper, Teresa, Hussein, Anna, Isabella, Ismail, Mehmet, Ahmet, Ali, Kristina, Alena, Sarah, Lockman, Alparslan, and Olivia.
Incredibly, 20 of their children were born within just over a year of one another, creating a household like no other.
In an interview with Fabulous in 2021, Ozturk shared that having a large family had always been her dream.
"My husband also dreamed about having a big, happy family. So after we met, we started to put our dream into action," she explained.
"Our romantic relationship has changed but then our whole lives have changed, not just the romantic part."
Reflecting on their journey so far, she added: "Our surrogacy clinic are amazed but happy to help us with our dream of a big family. I'm not sure if we will be the biggest family in the world, but we are planning to be the happiest family in the world for sure."
Despite having a team of nannies to assist her, Ozturk emphasized that she still takes on many of the responsibilities that mothers traditionally handle.
"The only difference is the amount of kids," she pointed out, adding, "Each day is different, from planning staff schedules to shopping for my family. I can tell you one thing - my days are never boring."
For most, 22 kids might seem like more than enough, but for Kristina and Galip, it’s only the beginning.
The couple has openly discussed the idea of expanding their family to include over 100 children.
However, they’ve decided to hold off on further surrogacy plans until their current children are slightly older.
This decision might also be influenced by Galip’s legal troubles, as he was sentenced in 2023 to eight years in prison for the illegal purchase and possession of drugs and psychotropic substances.
Following her husband’s arrest, Ozturk expressed gratitude to her followers, thanking them for their "support and kind words" during a challenging time.
