A mother in Atlanta has shared that she finds pregnancy so fulfilling that she's offering her womb for rent to potential parents, at a significant fee of $40,000.

Yessenia Latorre, aged 26, has been through three childbirth experiences. Among these, two were her biological children, and one involved her serving as a surrogate mother.

As she awaits the right time to further expand her own family, Latorre has taken the opportunity to lease her womb to couples facing difficulties with conception.

“I am planning to be a surrogate again very soon; I can’t wait to do this again,” Latorre told NeedtoKnow.co.uk.

Regarding the substantial charge of $40,000, Latorre hopes for a better understanding that "many surrogates are motivated by more than just money." She views the financial compensation as an extra benefit that accompanies the invaluable transformation she brings to a family's life.

“Family is something really important to me and I’m proud of what I have done,” she said.

In 2017, Latorre welcomed her first child, Tyson, and instantly developed a deep affection for the sensation of being pregnant.

“I really love everything about pregnancy. I enjoy having a baby bump, going to doctors’ appointments, feeling baby kicks,” she gushed.

“After I had my son, I was very happy with the family I had, but I would always feel like I wanted to be pregnant again.”

Not long after, in 2018, Latorre became pregnant again but sadly endured a miscarriage just five weeks into the pregnancy. This heartbreaking incident served as a catalyst, motivating her to offer her womb as a surrogate for those who face challenges in conceiving children.

“I wanted to become a surrogate mostly because of my previous miscarriage … I was devastated. It changed my life forever; I was so alone,” Latorre shared. “I was so hopeless, but at the same time, I felt grateful to even have one child because so many people cannot conceive.”

Latorre welcomed her second son, Trey Junior, in October 2019. However, right away, she started to miss the feeling of being pregnant and yearned to experience it again.

“After I was done breastfeeding my son, I was ready to help another family right away,” she said.

“I felt like I wanted to give back to others. I wanted to work with a family that wanted a relationship with me and will allow me to see the baby in the future that was very important to me. I also wanted to help a mother that couldn’t have a child.”

According to Latorre, she enlisted with a surrogacy agency that connected her with the kind of families she was seeking. This led to the initiation of her inaugural surrogacy journey in October 2021.

“I will be able to see him in the future, and his mom sends me pictures of him every week. It really makes me happy.”
