Mother-In-Law Ruins Bride's Wedding Day By Having Red Paint Chucked At Her Walking Down The Aisle

This is the same woman who dramatically feigned a heart attack upon learning of her son's engagement.

The root of this intense animosity, as shared by a Redditor who claimed to be from the same town as the bride's mother, appears to stem from the groom's family's desire for him to marry into wealth.

According to this Redditor, the groom's family, who are already quite wealthy, were of the opinion that he should marry a wealthy woman.

However, he chose to marry for love instead.

The bride reportedly faced numerous schemes aimed at dissuading her from continuing the relationship, including being harassed on social media.

According to a thread on X in Spanish, there was an instance where the bride was offered a blank check by her now brother-in-law.

He told her she could write any amount on it if she agreed to leave the groom.

Despite these relentless attempts to derail their relationship, the groom's mother, brother, and sister made it explicitly clear they had no intention of attending the wedding.

Accusations of being a 'gold digger' did not deter the bride, nor did the absence of her husband's family on their wedding day discourage her.

However, the wedding day, which occurred earlier this month, took a dramatic turn.

As the bride was ascending the church steps with her father, she was suddenly confronted by three men.

Two of them had cans of paint, and the third was recording the incident. They proceeded to douse her dress in red paint.

The Redditor who shared this story blamed the groom's family for this outrageous act, suggesting they had hired the men to carry out the deed.

The sight of the bride's dress turning red caused a moment of panic among the guests, some of whom feared the paint was actually blood.

Fortunately, the bride managed to return home, change into a different dress, and come back to the church to continue with the wedding.

But the troubles didn't end there.

The groom's family reportedly informed the police about a supposed drug presence at the location chosen for the wedding photos, attempting to cause further disruption.

Nonetheless, the wedding proceeded.

As if the day hadn't been eventful enough, it was also claimed that the groom's family tried to steal his passport and visa, aiming to prevent the couple from embarking on their honeymoon.
