Mother Of Home Alone Lookalike Says Son Is Compared To Kevin McCallister Daily, Even Though The Actor Is Now 40 Years Of Age

The mother of a boy who looks much like Home Alone's Kevin McCallister talked about how boring it is to remind her son that the character looks.

Evan Annable, who was ten years old, was regularly misunderstood for Macaulay Culkin (despite the Home Alone actor now being 40).

Now his fed-up mother Andrea has complained about being stopped regularly while the link between the two is made by individuals.

The 42-year-old Derbyshire kitchen assistant said "We'll be in the shops and someone will come up and say 'Do you know who your little boy looks like?'

"I just think 'Oh here we go again'. It's a daily occurrence. We've had it thousands of times.

"One time Evan was in the hospital with a broken arm and even the staff were coming up and saying it to him.

"Just about everyone we've come into contact with has said it. It's like 'we know, we know!'"

She went on: "We get it a bit more near Christmas time because everyone's watching the films. "But he's always looked a bit like him.

"Evan does like the films but it's not like he watches the films and models himself on him.

"Thankfully he hasn't done anything that happens in the film either.       

"I think you'd have to be blind not to see it. He could be his double from back in the day."

It seems like not all Evan has in connection with the star is an uncanny similarity to a young Macaulay Culkin, since the young person is still taking the very same career direction.

That's right, Evan has now acted in the comedy movie Swimming With Men (2018) and featured in a new Tiny Pop commercial for Sony.

Kari Lewis is someone else who is frequently being mistaken for a young actress. The 31-year-old was met several times by people who likened her to Hermione Granger, the character of Emma Watson.

The mother-of-one was asked to dress up as the star of Harry Potter and often the mother of Kari fails to say which is which.

Lewis, from Zionsville, Indiana, said: "My mum says she can really see the resemblance; she sometimes sees a photo of Emma Watson and thinks it's me.

"When I worked at a restaurant, I would constantly get comments from customers who couldn't believe the resemblance. It's fun seeing their reaction; I understand why people think I look like her.

"It all started when the first film was released; I went out to the Post Office to post a letter for my mum and a couple of girls called me Hermione. I had never heard of the name so I went home and researched it and realised that I did look like her."
