One high school girl took to reddit to ask the fellow readers if she was the wrong one for refusing to remove her hijab at her classfellow's place.
She further explained the situation of how she was a part of a study group and had to go to one of the classfellow's house to study. The girl, 18, is a muslim and observes hijab, when she entered her friend's place her mom got uncomfortable and asked her to remove her hijab.
The girl refused to do so, the mom told her it made her nervous.
The girl said no as there was a man in the house. Her classfellow, however, swore to her that there wasn't. She was convinced and decided to remove it but it turned out that her friend was lying.
The friend, Rachel, later texted her saying her mom was having a panic attack and that made her boyfriend feel threatened. Rachel blamed the OP for her mom's condition and told her to never visit her home again.
The girl even told OP she would not be in the same place as her because her mom doensn't want her near the OP.
