Traveling is always a fantastic experience but there are some places that are stunning in Spring.

Some places you simply must see in March, April or May due to the seasonal attractions such as the tulip fields of Holland or the bloom of cherry blossoms in Japan. While other locations like the European Mediterranean countries can get very hot during the summer months so you might want to bring your vacations a little bit forward to avoid the heat.

Osaka, Japan

Probably it doesn't come as a surprise that the first one on our list is Japan, to visit in springtime. The whole country is famous for ‘sakura', the cherry blossoms. The beautiful whitewashed building of Osaka Castle and its park is home to 4300 cherry trees that are truly an awe inspiring sight to see when they are in full bloom in April.

Morocco

Morocco, located in the Northern Africa is often referred to as a cold country with a hot sun. The best time to visit this diverse country is Spring and Fall as summers are exceptionally hot and winters can be very cold. The country has much to offer from desert to the High Atlas Mountains, dazzling markets in Marrakech and buildings painted a blinding blue-white in the medina of Chefchaouen

The Loire Valley, France

There are two things that the Loire Valley is famous for all around the world. One is wine and the other one is the dozens of castles covering the area. 42 chateaux make up this UNESCO World Heritage area. Visit the Loire's sleepy villages indulge in fantastic culinary experiences and taste fantastic wines where they are produced. All this you can do by booking a luxury barging tour.

Yosemite National Park, US

Yosemite is just one of those places that no matter how many times you visit it, it always leaves you speechless. Why not go this Spring, when the valley in in bloom and you can see a hundred different shades of green. The Mist Trail offers a great hike which is hard to beat. Rushing falls, sunny meadows and cold mist is perfect on a warm Spring day.

Seville, Spain

The atmospheric capital of Andalucia, on the banks of the River Guadalquivir, is considered to be the most Spanish of cities. Flamenco, sangria, oranges, gazpacho, and bullfighting all hail from this magnificent city. Don't miss the Feria de Abril, a fantastic festival two weeks after Easter. It means a week of eating, drinking, dancing, singing, parades, bullfights, and an overall good time. Even though the weather is not always sunny in England, you can definitely catch some sunshine during Spring. When the sun comes out, Cornwall is absolutely stunning. Wander among blooming flowers, hike up to craggy cliffs and visit the whitewashed seaside villages. Don't forget about the historical attractions and the delicious seasonal food available on the Cornish peninsula.

New Orleans is a city that worths visiting all year around regardless of the season. However there is a fantastic event worthy of America's premier party town, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Taking place each year in springtime, it celebrates its 45th year this year. You need not to be a jazz fanatic to love this great festival. It is a celebration of Louisiana music, food, and culture as well.
