‘Mutant Pigeon’ With Giant Feet Is Leaving People Seriously Disturbed

People are quite upset because of a "mutant pigeon" with enormous feet.

One video of a bird with a peculiar appearance has been going about on social media, and, well, let's just say that it has definitely raised some eyebrows there.

The bird can be seen in the video flitting about with two amusingly huge trotters, looking like it has spent roughly ten years nonstop working out.

The brief video of the bird certainly generated quite a stir online after an authority on all things pigeon, aptly named Pigeons TV, posted the video on TikTok.

Now, what appears to be a Frankenstein scenario or a dubious lab experiment is actually just a different breed of pigeon and not at all a mutant.

Pigeons do come in a variety of sizes, colors, and forms, just like cats and dogs.

This elegant breed of pigeon, known as the sophisticated English Pouter, has since been identified as being very different from your typical gammy-legged, Greggs-loving version.

The English Pouter, or Columba livia if you're fancy, is thought to have evolved via years of selective breeding and is a descendant of the rock pigeon, along with other types of domesticated pigeons.

And after receiving over 18.6 million views on TikTok, the video showing the pigeon flaunting a really puffed chest and some seriously amazing trotters quickly went viral.

The mutant bird in the video, which has now been uploaded on Twitter and Instagram, had viewers in awe.

People evidently couldn't wait to comment on the video, as evidenced by one TikTok user's question: "What the hell kind of bird is that?"

Another perplexed viewer questioned: "Is it supposed to be like that…"

A third, clearly still baffled, user declared: "That is no bird."

"This is making me wheeze," revealed a fourth.

While numerous people remarked on its long legs, one person wrote: "Never skip leg day!"

A second said: "When you go to the gym and forget to make them legs."

"When the bro skips the leg day and only focuses on the arms." a third commented.

Others, though, were completely awestruck by the bird; one praised its "interesting build."

Another person remarked on its "cartoon build." In a sense, they are not mistaken.

A third penned: "That is one majestic mother-fn pigeon."

"That's a cool bird," quipped a final TikTok user.
