Ruby embarked on this risqué career path following a tough breakup during lockdown.
She was left with no activities and needed a way to earn money.
She decided to try something new, as she has always been very open about her sexuality and enjoyed expressing it.
For Ruby, venturing into this type of work seemed like the "perfect" thing to do.

In an interview with the Daily Star, Ruby shared:
"I've always loved travel and really wanted to try something online that I could do anywhere in the world, so I decided to just give it a go!"
Although she loves her job, it brought an unexpected twist.
One of her former boyfriends started messaging her.
Ruby recounted to the Daily Star how it felt to discover that her provocative content had attracted an old flame.
It seems he simply couldn't stop thinking about Ruby. Ruby described the situation:
"I was with this boy in high school on and off for a few years. It wasn't very serious, but I was head over heels in love with him.

"After school, we drifted apart – we both moved away and our lives went in different directions. I hadn't talked to him for a few years before he reached out on OnlyFans.
"At first, I thought it was a joke, but then he started messaging me, and asking for paid content – even custom content made just for him.
"Honestly, I was flattered he was still thinking of me and still wanted me. I loved it! Initially, he was buying every single video I put out, no matter what it was.

"Then he asked for custom content. He wanted all sorts of videos of me doing explicit things and moaning his name while I did it.
"We would sext occasionally as well. He was spending about $1,500 (£776.41) per week on my content for a while!"
Ruby isn't entirely sure if he had a partner at the time, as he doesn't post much on social media, but she suspects he did.
Even so, Ruby doubts he would have told her if he was still involved with someone.
It's also unlikely that many people knew he was purchasing her content on OnlyFans.
Nevertheless, joining this platform has been the "most amazing" thing Ruby has ever done.
She has always desired to travel, explore, and experience as much as possible because she is an adventurous person.

Ruby mentioned she gets "itchy feet" if she stays in one place for too long and, before OnlyFans, she couldn't afford to travel as much.

"OnlyFans has given me the chance to work anywhere in the world and spend every day doing what I love – exploring, going on adventures, and living life to the fullest,"
"I went from living in a small, broken down van to travelling across the world. I normally go on a trip every month and have had the chance to bring the people I love along with me on these adventures, which has been so special.
"One day, I'd love to buy a big plot of land and build a homestead. I would like to be fully self-sufficient and grow and harvest all my own food, and continue travelling and exploring the world! I feel so lucky that OnlyFans will enable me to fulfill my dreams."
