NASA is recruiting subjects for a very unique experiment. If you are somebody who likes to spend as much time as possible in bed then this is your chance.
#2 18k for 70 days
In the "Bed Rest Studies", participants will spend 70 days in bed and will receive $18.000 as compensation.

#3 Staying busy
Participants are allowed to do normal things like reading, talking over Skype, play games, and use their phones and computers.
#4 Effects of muscle
The purpose of the study is to learn about how the human body responds to long periods of minimal strain on muscles, which will provide useful information to design programs for astronauts.

#5 Cores
The tree main cores of the study have to do with having a better understanding of human physiology, learning about the consequences of this type of lifestyle and finding a countermeasure for the negative effects that come with being this sedentary.

#6 Tests
But not all of the subjects will be doing the same activities. There will be a group that will use special equipment to exercise without leaving their beds. All participants will be subject to circulatory, muscular and bone tests throughout the 70 days.
