The American rom-com series was written and executive produced by 'very cynical writer' and 'very cynical person' Erin Foster (known for her work on NBC's *The New Normal*) - already a hit.

And it stars Kristen Bell from Queenpins, Adam Brody from Shazam!, Justine Lupe from Succession, and Timothy Simons from Veep - another major win.

Foster shared with Tudum that the series focuses on 'failing at dating and failing at relationships and things blowing up and finding the humor in it', while centering around the characters of agnostic Joanne (Bell) and 'unconventional rabbi' Noah (Brody).

With their clashing views on religion and life, alongside the hilariously relatable struggles of modern dating and some tricky family dynamics, the series brings the kind of feel-good, laugh-out-loud rom-com that fans have been missing since Bridget Jones.

It didn't take long for Netflix users to flood social media with their thoughts on the series.

As of now, Nobody Wants This boasts an impressive 95% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 89% audience score.

Despite being released on September 26, the demand for a second season is growing. So, should fans get their hopes up?

According to creator Foster, there's a reason to stay optimistic. She told Indiewire, "We're getting a really positive response, and I think conversations have started about a potential Season Two."

She added, "The story in Season One unfolds really slowly. If there is a Season Two, I would want to pick up where we left off and continue taking it slow. I don't want us to get too far ahead."
