When you see someone in the street or in a club that could be a potential suitor and you’re with your friends, you’ll probably go through the precaution of rating them out of 10.
New Facebook Bot Rates You (And Lets You Rate Others) Based On Looks
#1
That doesn’t make you a bad person, it just makes you efficient.
But have you ever wondered what other people are rating you? I know I have.
That’s where RateMe comes in to play. With their new bot on Facebook Messenger you can rate others subjectively out of 10 and they can rate you. I decided to give it a go. The thing is though, although I said that I have wondered what people would rate me out of 10, I have no interest in actually finding out. There’s some things best left unknown to me (also, on the off-chance that I have a pretty face, it won’t take into account that I’m about as tall as a bigger-than-usual dog).

I used this picture of the Arsenal reserves attacking midfielder currently at Rangers, Jon Toral. Sue me.
Have a look at what happened…
#3
The layout seems easy enough.
#4
So first it gives you the option to publish your own profile picture but no thanks, am I right?
#5
Let’s go, Jon Toral…
#6
Yes please.
#7
Now we wait. In the meantime, we rate…
#8
I chose a few examples where I was being nice…
#9
Nice-ish. Next it was my (Jon Toral’s) turn to be rated…

I know that this isn’t a picture of me and is, in fact, the very good looking Spanish midfielder but for some reason I still felt good to get that little compliment.
The bot asked me to respond. I drew a blank…

And so on.
So that’s it really. I didn’t feel too good about myself after rating people with the prospect of them finding out but I guess they know what they’re in for if they decide to go on RateMe.

Shortly afterwards the girl who said I (Jon Toral) was hot got back to me saying ‘You’re welcome 😄” after I said “hey thanks bbz” and it gave me the option to carry on the conversation. So I suppose RateMe could, in theory, be used to find a partner but there’s probably better ways.
If you’re reading, Jon Toral, someone out there’s up for it. But you probably already knew that.
