Amanda Booth, a jeweler and sculptor, creates elaborate sculptures using semen samples provided to her workshop by clients, which she dries and powders before sculpting into trinkets.

Booth has also created wearable things out of cremated ashes, lengths of hair, and breastmilk since starting her business in 2021.

Speaking to Vice, Booth explained: “Fresh samples are one thing, but when they've been in the mail for a little bit, I mean... it smells like semen, you know what I mean?”

She added: “We process them [semen samples] at the end of the day, otherwise we're sitting in the smell all day and it's just... We did it in the morning one day and it was just like, 'No, I'm never doing that again',”

Booth launched her business last year and began sharing her work on TikTok, prompting one user to ask beneath one of her videos whether she's ever considered crafting things out of 'man juices.'

Booth, who floated the concept half-jokingly on Facebook, received serious online orders.

Epsy explained: “We ended up opting to have my husband use a condom, and then cut the end off of the condom, to deposit the sample in a specimen tube. We then sealed the tube with electrical tape around the cap, and vacuum sealed it before placing it in a padded envelope, to be mailed.”

Jenna Schatzman, another client, revealed she and her husband wanted a semen ring, explaining: “He was immediately intrigued and thought it would be such a fun way to have something I could wear that is almost as a reminder of our love and sex life.”
