Noah Cyrus 'Had Relationship' With Mom Tish's New Husband Dominic Purcell Before She Married Actor

This family, never far from the limelight, especially with their personal lives on display, finds itself in the headlines once more.

This time, the focus is on Tish and Purcell's union, which has raised eyebrows following claims that Noah Cyrus had a 'relationship' with Dominic Purcell prior to her mother's marriage to the actor.

According to an insider who spoke to PEOPLE Magazine, Noah and Purcell were involved in a casual, on-again, off-again 'friends with benefits' arrangement before ending their relationship.

After this relationship concluded, Dominic Purcell began his romance with Tish Cyrus.

"Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends with benefits way, off and on."

"They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up," the source disclosed to the publication.

The insider added more layers to the story, suggesting Tish was aware of Dominic's previous entanglement with Noah. 

"Tish knew he had been seeing Noah. Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married," the source elaborated.

Interestingly, Miley Cyrus, arguably the most prominent figure in the Cyrus family, was reportedly in the dark about this family 'drama' until recently.

"Miley had no idea about the drama with Dominic. No idea at all," shared the insider with PEOPLE.

"She confronted her mom about it. She thinks it's a strange situation, but she loves her mom and wants her to be happy," the source indicated, highlighting Miley's mixed feelings but ultimately her support for her mother's happiness.

Despite the past connection between Noah and Dominic Purcell, it was Tish Cyrus who walked down the aisle with the "Prison Break" star in August 2023.

Notably, Noah Cyrus was absent from the wedding festivities.

This marriage came on the heels of Tish's protracted and highly publicized divorce proceedings with Billy Ray Cyrus. 

The couple's marital troubles began in 2010 when Billy Ray first sought a divorce, only to retract the petition later.

The cycle of separation and reconciliation continued until Tish filed for divorce in 2013, citing irreconcilable differences, though they attempted reconciliation afterward.

The final chapter in their marriage came in April 2022 when Tish filed for divorce for the second time, marking the end of their decades-long union.

In a joint statement, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus expressed their mutual respect and love despite the decision to part ways:

"It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways — not with sadness, but with love in our hearts."

"We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths."

They concluded with a commitment to family and co-parenting:
