This church has received praise for spreading a message of inclusivity within its community and beyond.

Pastor Adam, the church's leader, was the brain behind these unique and inviting signs.

His aim was to communicate the church's values to those passing by, as many in the neighborhood were not aware of the church's inclusive principles.

To bring his vision to life, Pastor Adam started a fundraiser to create and display these welcoming signs outside the church.

These signs reflect the church's dedication to embracing people from diverse backgrounds.

The initiative was met with an overwhelmingly positive response, with many stopping to thank the church for its open-minded approach.

Explaining the motivation behind these signs, Pastor Adam told Bored Panda: "Amidst the pain of the world and all the hate, people are thirsty for something deeper."

"The truth of the Gospel is that all people are loved. The sin is when we start treating certain people and groups as if they are not loved."

He further explained that the church's mission is in line with Jesus' teachings, who criticized the use of religion for excluding others.

The church, following in Jesus' footsteps, aims to spread love, acceptance, and kindness.

The church's message has also reached a wider audience through Pastor Adam's social media account @clackamasucc, where he posts images of the signs.

One such sign says, "Kind atheists are closer to Jesus than mean Christians," highlighting kindness as a core value over judgmental attitudes.

Other signs promote messages like "be kind" to remind people that everyone is battling their own issues, and "Do not body shame, 11th commandment," to encourage body positivity.

Pastor Adam has observed that the community's reaction has been majorly supportive.

Other local churches have also embraced these signs.

Although there have been some negative feedbacks from individuals who believe the signs contradict their interpretation of the Bible, such instances are rare.

In a time often characterized by division and intolerance, the inclusive signs at the Clackamas United Church of Christ stand as a significant reminder of the value of love, acceptance, and empathy towards all individuals.
