A Panera employee has put the quality of their food on blast showing the pre-made bagged soup that comes into their kitchens. The video shows them unsealing the bag and pouring it out into a tureen for service.
Panera Employee Calls Out Their Soup: "Expensive Hospital Food"
A Panera employee has become a whistleblower on TikTok showing what really goes on behind the scenes at Panera with soup in particular.
@ohana_trender recorded themself holding onto a bag of pre-made soup and pouring it into a tureen.
The plastic bag contains a non-descript yellow liquid with noodles and veggies.
The video, which has since been made private contained mixed opinions.
“So y’all charging those kinda prices for WHY,” said one commenter.
People for the most part however weren't deterred.
“Y’all really think the soup is cooked from scratch at every store?”
Another commenter however was still a big fan of the bag.
“I had a friend that worked for Panera and for my birthday she brought me a bag of broccoli cheese soup. It’s my favorite. Best bag ever!”
While it’s no secret that Panera or other restaurants for that matter use frozen or pre-made foods, this incident seems to have caused quite a stir.
Ohana Trender often makes video showing their experience as a Panera employee.
Some of their videos featuring Panera even have comments turned off.
For the most part it seems that the soup video was part of multiple videos that show their experience as an employee at the location.
