A woman pulled off an ultimate prank on her parents by telling them that their son had passed away. The shocking truth was only unveiled when their son unexpectedly called them six months later.
Parents No Longer Talking To Daughter After Son Who's Been Dead For Six Months Called Them Up

The parents are not talking to their daughter anymore after their son, who they thought had died for six months, called them.
If you think this sounds like a big mess, wait until you hear the wild story about how their son came back from the dead.
In 2021, a New Zealander by the name of Callum astonished audiences when he phoned ZM Radio to share the unbelievable story of how his parents believed he had returned from the dead.
The whole story began when ZM Radio initiated a spontaneous segment where they asked listeners if they had ever been mistakenly believed to be dead.

Along came a bloke named Callum, who left Carl Fletcher, Vaughan Smith and Megan Papas utterly shellshocked.
"Yes, I definitely have been presumed dead, mate," he explained.
"My sisters were in a bit of a tiff with my parents at the time and they weren't really getting along."
"I was living in Wellington while they were in Christchurch. My older sister actually called my parents up and told them that I had died."

The situation becomes even more crazy when he disclosed that his sisters informed their parents that he had been fatally stabbed.
Vaughan said: “Wait wait wait, you were murdered?”
“You’re not dead in an accident by your own hand, someone murdered you! This is the wildest phone call we’ve ever had.”
“Were you the sort of person who would have been stabbed?”
“I was not in some gangs but I will say, at the point in time, it wouldn’t have been un-peculiar for me to get stabbed,” Callum said.
Explaining why he decided to ring his parents in the first place, Callum added: “And then I was like wait – I haven’t heard from my parents in a while, I wonder what’s going on?”
“And I gave them a call-up and my mum and dad are like ‘you’re alive?’”
“My mum was absolutely in tears and my dad was just kind of gobsmacked – he was just like ‘what the f**k is going on?'”
Vaughan chimed in: “What! I’m going to say this in the nicest possible way Callum… your sister sounds like a crazy b***h.”
“No offence. Your sister sounds like a top level, red flag, crazy b***h!”
The sisters also allegedly informed their parents that the funeral had already occurred and they hadn’t been invited because his ex-girlfriend’s mum and dad 'didn’t want them there'.
Callum concluded that his parents have severed ties with his sisters. Can you really blame them for making that choice?
