Paris Hilton recently photos featuring her nine-month-old son, Phoenix, on her Instagram last week. However, what followed was surprising and disheartening, as she received a barrage of hurtful comments from trolls in the comment section, targeting the shape of her child's head.
Paris Hilton Has Clapped Back At Trolls Who Made Vile Comments About Her Son
The former reality TV star, Paris Hilton, shared a picture of her and her infant with her 25 million followers.
The 42-year-old captioned the photo: “My precious angel baby Phoenix's first time in NYC.”
However, the picture attracted some cruel comments from users, as one person wrote: “He is already further AHEAD in life than most.”
Another said: “Funny looking kid.”
A third commented: “Man got a lot of thoughts up there.”
While another said: "There was no doctor who could perform the delivery, it must have been done by a magician."
Many users went on to draw comparisons between Phoenix and the Family Guy character Stewie, while some expressed worries regarding the well-being of the infant.
“Does he have encephalitis? Like what is actually going on I’m not trying to be rude, that doesn’t seem normal,” one commented.
Hilton herself has now responded to a TikTok video that criticized the negative comments aimed at her son.
"Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else's for that matter, is unacceptable," she wrote on Instagram.
"This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. I've worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return.”
"If I don't post my baby, people assume I'm not a great mother and if I do post him, there are some people who are cruel and hateful.
I'm a proud working mom and my baby is perfectly healthy, adorable, and angelic.
I've dreamt of being a mom for as long as I can remember.”
"Phoenix is my world and has been the biggest blessing of my life.”
"Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters. It's hard to fathom that there are people in the world who would target such innocence.”
"I hope that people can treat one another with more kindness and empathy."
In January, the star of "The Simple Life" and her husband, Carter Reum, discreetly welcomed their son through surrogacy.
She shared a post on social media, featuring a blue heart emoji, along with a caption expressing, "You are already loved beyond words."
The accomplished businesswoman recently had a conversation with PEOPLE magazine, discussing her experience with motherhood.
Despite her bustling career and her passion for globe-trotting, Hilton is now taking a step back to care for her baby.
"I always make Phoenix my first priority, and I've learned how to say no,” she told the publication.
"I'm constantly saying no to things, because I just want to spend as much time with him as possible, and I just don't want to miss any of these special moments in his life and all these milestones," she continued.
"He's my everything, so I always put him first," Hilton added of her son.
"And I hope that he doesn't want to be in this industry, because it's a lot. I'm hoping he'll be a nerd like his dad and do business or sports or something," Hilton told White.
"I'm never going to stop my son from doing what he wants to do in life. I'm just hoping he doesn't want to be in the spotlight," she added.
