Police were called to remove a passenger on a flight after she refused to move and allegedly bit one of the policemen.

They had to drag the passenger down the aisle of the plane.

A fellow traveler's footage captures the 'disruptive' woman being removed off the plane as she constantly says: “I'm so confused. What's happening.”

Later on in the video, she is heard saying: "Can I please have my phone? No, I literally need my phone. I paid for that.”

A Southwest Airlines flight scheduled to depart from Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans on May 29 is where the event took place.

The woman was identified by representatives of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office as 25-year-old Kamaryn Gibson of Olathe, Kansas.

Gibson refused to exit the plane voluntarily, according to Captain Jason Rivarde of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, who spoke to NOLA deputies.

"She refused to exit the plane multiple times," Rivarde said.

She reportedly bit one deputy on the leg and kicked out the deputies as they attempted to remove her.

Gibson was led to the airport police station after being detained and wheeled off the plane.

She was then transferred to the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center, where she was booked on charges of two counts of disturbing the peace, criminal mischief, two counts of using force or violence to resist an officer, and three counts of battery on a police officer.

“@Southwest Airlines your flight attendants handled the situation perfectly. They asked her nicely to get off the flight, but she refused numerous times, so they called in for assistance.

"The police did try to remove her without force prior to the video, but she wasn’t having any of it."

We commend our crew for their outstanding professionalism while handling this challenging situation.

The following day, Gibson was released on a $6,000 bond.
