Viewers have been captivated by the movie, which is based on a true story.

The movie focuses on a man named David Marks (played by Gosling) who comes from a very wealthy family.

David lives under the shadow of his father, Sandford (played by Frank Langella), and goes against his wishes when he falls in love with and marries Katie (played by Dunst).

Katie doesn't come from a rich family like David's, and Sandford doesn't approve of their relationship.

But despite this, David and Katie decide to get married.

Their married life starts off well, but things take a turn for the worse when David agrees to join the family business, something Katie disagrees with.

Originally, this wasn't the plan, but when the couple's wellness shop fails, David becomes more involved in his family's company.

During a confrontation with Katie at their summer house after an argument, she disappears.

What follows is a series of murders that David is questioned about but never charged for.

"All Good Things" draws inspiration from the true story of the Durst family, with Ryan Gosling portraying a character based on Robert Durst.

Someone else agreed, adding: "Speaking of The Jinx, All Good Things is on Netflix if you would like to ruin Ryan Gosling for yourself for a while."

And another wrote on X: "Just watched the excellent All Good Things oldish movie from 2010 on Netflix. Frank Langella is so creepy as Ryan Gosling's super wealthy, corrupt Manhattan real estate developer dad. One wife disappears, another takes a bad fall. (Perhaps more timely after all...?) Recommend!"
