Sanitka, which also happens to be the Czech word for ambulance, believes emergency vehicles are attractive from "wheel to lights." They even shared that there’s a company that lets them roam around their depot, looking for intimate encounters.
Sanitka, who identifies as an ambulance, feels especially drawn to Mercedes-made emergency vehicles.
They also identify as non-binary, and their full name is Sanitka Mercedes, though they were born as Dominik Chvátal.
Sanitka has explained that they’re in a polygamous relationship with ambulances, specifically the Mercedes model, after being caught in an intimate act with one.
Living in Prague, Czech Republic, Sanitka is 22 years old.
"I chose the name myself because that's how I feel," they said.
"I am a car trapped in human form."
Their fascination with ambulances began at age 13, and by age 15, that interest became sexual.
Sanitka openly admitted that they are aroused by the various "openings" found in an ambulance.
They explained: "It is possible to have sex—the ambulance has many places where you can have a sexual act.
"It has several openings: the exhaust, the door handles, the front, and a lot in the chassis too."
However, for Sanitka, it's not just about physical attraction. They also say it’s about love and connection.
They claim to have conversations with ambulances, just like one would with another person.
"We talk about everything that is normally talked about. It depends on what topic comes to mind—we talk like people do."
Sanitka works at a petrol station and has been diagnosed with objectophilia, a condition where someone experiences romantic or sexual attraction to inanimate objects.
When it comes to ambulances, Sanitka said, "everything about them is attractive, from wheels to lights."
But their tastes are specific. They maintain platonic relationships with other cars, except Volkswagens, which they claim are a major turn-off.
"Volkswagens are ugly and mainly hurt Mercedes cars. They laugh when something hurts or bothers them," Sanitka said.
Publicly engaging in intimacy with an ambulance has caused some problems for Sanitka. They mentioned that they used to get into trouble for it.
"One time, paramedics rushed over, and even though I have a diagnosis, they called the police. I was taken to speak with a psychiatrist," they recalled.
Over time, though, Sanitka has learned to be more discreet.
"They don’t even notice me anymore. I walk around their depots. There's one company that has Mercedes ambulances, and they allow me to be with the ambulances and have intimate moments with them," they added.
While marriage between vehicles and humans isn’t allowed in the Czech Republic, Sanitka remains hopeful that it might be possible in the United States, which they describe as "a land of unlimited possibilities."
Regardless, Sanitka shared that their family and friends have come to terms with their identity.
"My family reconciled after a long time, and my friends understand and support me. I have no problem going public with it. It is harmless—I am not harming anyone," Sanitka said.
