The world lost a gem of a human being on the day that Robin Williams committed suicide in 2014, one could not comprehend how a guy like him who made millions laugh around the globe could take his own life due to being depressed. Following his death, the Nation Suicide Prevention Lifeline received the greatest number of calls since it was established 12 years ago to that date. It makes you realize that so many of those around us, friends and family, that are cheerful and always making an effort to spread happiness around may themselves be going through their own battles and suffering. So remember to be there for those who give signs of needing any sort of help.

It is rare that people consider that good that rich and famous people do much good for the average people. Truth is we only know them through a screen and sometimes the good they do may not even be promoted through media as it may not be that interesting. Similar was the case with Tupac Shakur, you would think that a celebrity like him would give no heed to any of the fan letters he received but he did. The parent of a terminally-ill boy, Joshua, from Maryland wrote to Tupac about the boy's last wish to meet his idol. Tupac wasted no time to fly all the way to Maryland to meet him and after Joshua passed away Tupac commemorate his death by changing the name of his publishing company to "Joshua's Dream".

It is rare in today's age to witness 4 generations of family members alive at the same time. This here is that one rare moment. The man here hold a picture of his son, holding the picture of his grandson, holding the picture of his grand-grandson. I know sound like quite a picture-ception, but here it is. Worth noticing is that the youngest and the oldest smile the widest, was it a coincidence or just the stages of life with the least worries that make you smile so.

This women here, Oprah Winfrey, went through so much in life and where most would just give up, she did not. She made it through every struggle, every battle and every tragedy to come out stronger than ever before. She was raped at the age of 9 along with being molested by family members at the age of 10 and got pregnant at the age of 14 but the baby passed away due to some compilations. For most of the people out there, this would have been the breaking point but not her. She faced more tough times ahead as her mother gave her sister up for adoption and her brother passed away at a young age due to AIDS. Afterwards when she finally had a stable job for some time, her boss fired her claiming that she was to "emotionally invested" in her stories. Later at the age of 29 she got a break on her first on-air hosting show and after 3 years she owned that very show. Such a quick rise after so many struggles, but you could attribute the strength that she got from the tragedies to pushing her to attain such success. Now, she is worth around $2.9 billion dollars and CNN called her "The Most Powerful Women in the World".

It is when the little ones do good which gives you hope that the future may be better than the current times. The girls here were given their breakfast and just when the parent came back to give them some milk, they saw them praying together. Kudos to these parent for doing parenting right.

This person noticed that the weather was going to be really hot today so instead of just making themselves prepared they made sure that they do something for those out on the roads, working or homeless. Gary Dockery, a police officer spent 8 years in coma when suddenly one day her woke up. A day of joy for friends and family, they came to meet him from all over and Gary spend the day catching up with his family and friends. But sadly on the very next day, Gary could not speak anymore and slipped into coma once again and never woke up again.

A care home in California went bankrupt and about 16 elderly resident of the home were abandoned as most of the staff left as there was no cash to for them to get their salaries from. This is when the janitor and the cook decided to stay back and starting taking care of the residents at their own expense.

Almost all of us are familiar with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that took place in 2014. All of social media feed were filled with people flipping ice and cold water over their heads. Well the finds raised from the Ice Bucket Challenge helped scientists find a gene called NEK1 and can now develop a gene therapy to treat the inherited ALS.

This 3-year-old saw a girl with no hair and asked why she was bald and upon finding out that she was very ill and the medicine she takes cause her hair to fall off, she said, "Oh, I can give her some of my hair!". They went straight to the salon and got it cut. Kudos to her parent for raising their child right.

So we have only one food bowl for my two labs. And my dog stitch trained my other dog cookie to only eat half of the food that's in the bowl. So ever since she was young she knew to leave half of the food so Stitch can have some (he liked to make sure she would eat). Now Stitch recently passed away. And this is Cookies first time alone. So since Stitch is gone, l've been feeding Cookie less food. Well before l went to bed, I wanted to check to see if she ate. And so l and she still left half of her food there so Stitch can eat.
