Vietnamese Police have raided an illegal facility where nearly 324,000 used condoms were being repackaged. In highly unhygienic conditions, those condoms were washed, dried, reshaped with a dildo, and then sold in the market. Vietnamese newspaper Tuoi Tre News reports that all of the used condoms at the illegal production base were found unpackaged and unlabelled.
Vietnamese authorities have busted a facility where huge number of used condoms were recycled and stocked for sale.
This facility was set in a flat, where nearly 324,000 used condoms were being repackaged.
Police have confiscated everything at the flat which is located in the Binh Duong Province of southern Vietnam.
According to Vietnamese newspaper Tuoi Tre News, all the used condoms found at the illegal base production were unpackaged and unlabelled.
The owner of the facility, Pham Thi Thanh Ngoc, claimed she had received a monthly input of used condoms from an unknown person.
Under really unhygienic conditions, these used condoms were then washed, dried, and then reshaped with a dildo, before being put up for sale.
A couple of years ago the Centers For Disease Control And Prevention tweeted out a message aimed at sexually active Americans - advising them not to wash condoms. Apparently this is not a joke.
The agency tweeted: "Don't wash or reuse condoms. We say it, because people do it."
Daily Mail also reports that as many as 3% of the people (and mind you 3% is a lot of people) have tried to reuse condoms and CDC is doing its job and wants to reduce the risk of people contracting sexually transmitted infections (STIs), they also reminded everyone that prophylactics can be picked up for free at health centers and can only be used the one time.
One thing worth mentioning here washing condoms used to be standard practice. The Sex Pistols (appropriately enough) and Elvis Costello have even sung songs about washing condoms. But for God's sake people that was back in the 70s and we live in the 21st century now.
Though we don't like suggesting it but if you really can't get your hands on the rubber then maybe you can try using a chocolate wrapper?
Mark, a guest on The Jeremy Kyle Show (shock horror), asked Kyle and the audience if they 'like Toffee Crisps'. Who doesn't, right?
He then went on to reveal: "She [ex-girlfriend Joanne] had sex with someone who wore a Toffee Crisp wrapper as a johnny."
Backstage, ex Joanne was adamant that she wasn't the one with the unconventional contraception practices as she said: "Actually, that wasn't me."
