A pregnant mother from Folsom, California named Jaclyn Caramazza put herself at risk to rescue her son after he was bitten by a rattlesnake

Vinny said, "It wasn't dog poop." His mom said, "I know, it was a snake."

She looked around then took off his son’s shoes, and there it is…two little puncture marks!

And within minutes, Vinny's ankle starts to swell and turned purple, a sign that the venom are spreading fast in his entire leg.

Jaclyn who is about to give birth next month took a desperate action in order to help her son and sucked the venom out

She said, "Mama Bear instinct in me decided to suck the venom because that's what Bonanza does." She then rushed him to the hospital where the doctors treated him.

However, experts said not to copy Jaclyn's action. California Fish and Wildlife officer Chris Stoots said. "Misconception is lacerate between the two points and suck the venom out. Absolutely don't do that. Use your basic wound type stuff, soap and water, wash the area, keep it clean and call 911 immediately."
