A priest who suffered a heart attack in 2016 says he briefly visited hell and went on to share his experience.
A priest who claims he's been to hell has shared his experiences, describing it as so dreadful he "wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy."
In 2016, Priest Gerald Johnson experienced a heart attack that briefly led to his death.
During that time, he claims he had a glimpse of hell, where he encountered something quite unexpected.
Instead of the anticipated heavy metal, which is often considered 'torture' music, the sounds filling this eerie place were quite different.
Johnson revealed that the music echoing through the depths was by Rihanna, with her popular track 'Umbrella' specifically being played.
He shared this startling detail in a TikTok video, emphasizing the severity of the place by repeating he "wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy," and then he detailed what he witnessed.
He described his experience, saying: "My spirit left my physical body and I initially thought I was ascending.
"I believed I had done much good in my life, helped many people, and made decisions that aligned with godly principles."
Contrary to his expectations, instead of rising, he found himself descending.
"I ended up going down to a place where music was omnipresent, and it was the same music you hear on Earth.
"But instead of being performed by entertainers, it was demons who were singing it."
Continuing his account, Johnson said: "It featured some of the same lyrics we hear here on Earth.
"I came to realize that many of the lyrics and music we enjoy are actually inspired by demons.
"The purpose of every lyric in that place is to torment you, reminding you that you failed to worship God through music while on Earth."
Among the songs he heard, demons used Rihanna's 'Umbrella' and Bobby McFerrin's 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' as tools for tormenting the souls condemned there.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, Rihanna’s fans are desperately waiting for her to release her next album, dubbed 'R9,' a follow-up eagerly anticipated since her last release in 2016.
Rihanna has continually teased the album, boosting fans' hopes by saying earlier that she aimed to release it by the end of 2023.
But as summer 2024 rolls around, the album still hasn’t been released.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight earlier this month, Rihanna expressed her readiness to return to the studio.
"Now, I'm prepared to go back in the studio. [...] I'm gonna start," she declared.
The mother of two also noted that she’s "starting over" with the album but won't be completely discarding the songs she has already created.
It seems even hell could use some new tunes, RiRi!
