On the launch day of PlayStation 5, many customers complained about their orders either being marked as delivered or receiving random items such as kitty litter instead of the latest PS5. This father named Richard Walker, who was also the victim of this controversy, however, caught the employee stealing the PS5 box in surveillance cameras.
Amazon recently fired an employee who stole PS5 that was bought by customer Jenni Walker on her son's 16th birthday
Something very strange happened on the launch day of PlayStation 5 in the UK. When customers placed their order, many of them found either their order was marked as delivered or out of stock or even worse that is it had been replaced with kitchen items, kitty litter, and other totally random items.

The CCTV footage was shared online by Jenni's husband in which the driver was seen putting the box back in the car
The footage shows the outside of Jenni's house where the driver is seen taking a box the size of the PS5 box to be delivered back to the van.
The family was quite disappointed thus contacted Amazon, who said it would investigate the incident
Even after complaining, the Walker family was only offered a gift voucher as compensation. That is when their daughter took the matter into her own hands and drove to the local Amazon depot to confront the site’s boss.

The site boss first watched the footage and then confirmed that the driver was their employee
The site boss told the family that the driver would be fired. Speaking to Oxford Mail, Amazon said:
"We have very high standards for our delivery service providers and how they serve customers. The delivery associate will no longer be delivering on behalf of Amazon."
