In a horrific and rather inhumane incident reported, a group of teenagers allegedly tortured a dog for quite a long time, and after that left it just like that, dying. The dog suffered from terrible injuries but, is luckily alive. In this 'worst case of animal cruelty', the teens will have to pay heavily for their actions. The extensive abuse that the puppy was subjected to, was indeed gruesome.

A dog sustained horrifying injuries after being tortured by a group of teenagers for an extended amount of time before leaving it for dead. Now, the teens are being held accountable for their actions in what some are calling the ‘worst case of animal cruelty' that they've ever seen.
One-year-old Chunky the Chihuahua was stolen from his home in Margate, Kent in the U.K. by four teenagers aged 15 and 16.

The puppy was then subjected to extensive abuse in what the RSPCA is saying is the worst case of animal abuse they've ever seen. ‘This was the most disturbing case I have ever dealt with by an absolute mile,' said Caroline Doe, who works for the animal welfare charity.

After stealing the dog, the teens kicked and punched him before breaking the helpless animal's leg and neck. They then fed the dog drugs, before setting his face on fire with an aerosol can, and leaving the injured dog at a garbage dump.

The teens pleaded guilty to ill-treatment under the Animal Welfare Act, but they cannot be identified in the media because of their age.

Thankfully, Chunky was able to make a full recovery and has been returned to his owner. RSCPA Inspector Caroline Doe said she ‘will never forget how terrified and depressed he was when I first saw him. The injuries were so severe.' She said that Chunky suffered for six days, as medication was unable to numb all of his pain.
The teens have been banned from owning pets for the next five years, and have been ordered to pay various fines. Two of the teens were fined $750, one was fined $1,500, and another is required to pay more than $8,000 for their actions against Chunky.
Doe, however, still condemns their actions: ‘The defendants may have been young and confessed to being under the influence of drugs but the cruelty they inflicted on this poor dog was extreme, barbaric and inexcusable.'
