A TRICKY new puzzle is asking gamers to spot the misplaced tile in a series of photographs.
Devised by quiz site Playbuzz, the brainteaser ranges from the embarrassingly obvious to the fiendishly difficult.

1. The internet is obsessing over this new game.
It's pretty simple: you have to pick the tile that's out of place. Obviously, this is the easiest example.
If you correctly choose the out-of-place tile, you get bragging rights.
Seems simple enough, right? We'll start with an easy one.

2. This isn't fooling too many people.
Still, you have to look at the pattern for a minute to figure out the errant tile.
Yep; it's this one.
If you picked one of the white tiles, well, you now understand why this game can be somewhat difficult.
3. Here's a tougher example.
We probably should have warned you; this is a terrible game for people who are slightly obsessive over small details.
This tile is switched out with the white tile right above it.
Now, everything is ruined and we can never use this floor again.

4. Seriously, though, how do builders let this happen?
This is one of the tougher examples. Can you see it?
That was not our first choice.
Still, now that we see it, we cannot un-see it.
5. Time for the most difficult example.
You know the drill -- find the "wrong" tile.
