This 2-year old little boy had been abandoned by his own parents, because everyone in their village and they thought he was a witch.

His condition was horrible when the Danish social worker found him.
#3 After 9 months of wandering around, Anja gave him a proper medical assistance and care.
She took Hope to the hospital where he was given a thorough bath.
#4 She even named him Hope after she published the photos.
Hope was treated of the worms and given blood transfusion to replenish his obviously depleted red blood cells.
#6 Today, the outcome of her incredible care and love for Hope are noticeable.
The condition of the boy has been far improved, even though his chances of survival were very minimal.
#6 He is healthier and happier than ever!
Hope now have several pounds more and looks much happy and healthier now, which can be noticed by looking the newest photos.
#7 Hope was photographed playing with other children in the orphanage.
#8 In Anja’s recent Facebook post, she shared pictures of him playing and the reason she named him Hope.
"The day I carried this sweet little boy in my arms for the very first time, I was so sure he would not survive. Every breath he took was a struggle and I did not want him to die without a name, without dignity, so I named him Hope. Hope to me is a special name. Not only the meaning of Hope but what it stands for. Many years ago I got the name HOPE tattooed on my fingers because to me it means: Help One Person Everyday."
It's amazing to see him transform into a cute, healthy baby after going through such a horrible experience.
