Resurfaced Pictures Of Angelina Jolie Kissing Her Brother Have People Baffled

People have been left baffled as they are just realising that Angelina Jolie once kissed her brother. Jolie, who was 24-years-old at the time, had picked up an Oscar for her performance in Girl Interrupted.

During her acceptance speech for winning an Oscar for her role in Girl Interrupted, she expressed gratitude to her brother, who had accompanied her to the ceremony.

A flustered Jolie said: "I’m in shock, and I’m so in love with my brother right now."

"He just held me and said he loved me, and I know he’s so happy for me. And, um, thank you for that."

There was considerable curiosity surrounding the incident, but both Jolie and Haven have since addressed and clarified it.

In fact, Jolie went so far as to label the reaction to the incident as 'pathetic'.

She told Entertainment Weekly: "My parents really loved that moment, and that’s what will always matter."

In 2007, Haven told the Daily Mail: "I did not give Angie a French kiss. It was something simple and lovely."

In the current trend of rediscovering old photos, Redditors are now reflecting on how peculiar the 2000s truly were, struggling to make sense of the infamous sibling moment captured in the resurfaced photo.

This isn't the only instance where Jolie has caused a stir on the red carpet. She famously wore a vial containing her husband Billy Bob Thornton's blood around her neck, adding another memorable and eyebrow-raising moment to her public appearances.

Speaking of the incident in 2014, Thornton said: "She thought it would be interesting and romantic if we took a little razorblade and sliced our fingers, smeared a little blood on these lockets and you wear it around your neck just like you wear your son or daughter's baby hair in one."
