As if we didn't already know how amazing Robin Williams was, a booking agent has shared the story about him that solidifies his reputation as one of Hollywood's nicest guys.

Due to his funny and heartwarming roles in films such as Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Good Will Hunting, many of us hold a special place in our hearts for the late star. But, if you wanted any more proof that Williams was a magnificent man outside the screen, here it is.

Brian Lord, a booking agent, has posted "a little-known Robin Williams story" to his website, detailing the star's compassion.

Lord begins his story by writing: "Years ago I learned a very cool thing about Robin Williams, and I couldn’t watch a movie of his afterward without thinking of it.

"I never actually booked Robin Williams for an event, but I came close enough that his office sent over his rider."

A talent's "rider," for those of us outside of "the industry," is a collection of demands or conditions they need while working on-set.

According to Marie Claire, Jay-Z loves PB&J sandwiches, while Selena Gomez only needs chicken pot pie and pickles.

Lord, on the other hand, writes that receiving Williams' rider left him "very surprised."

Lord adds: "He had a requirement that for every single event or film he did, the company hiring him also had to hire a certain number of homeless people and put them to work."

The post continues: "I’m sure that on his own time and with his own money, he was working with these people in need, but he’d also decided to use his clout as an entertainer to make sure that production companies and event planners also learned the value of giving people a chance to work their way back.

"I wonder how many production companies continued the practice into their next non-Robin Williams project, as well as how many people got a chance at a job and the pride of earning an income, even temporarily, from his actions."

Even though the Jumanji star passed away seven years ago, we continue to hear incredible stories like this about how great he was in his life.
