Robot Bartender Demands 10% Tip, TikToker Shocked

It is customary to tip when you receive great service in most parts of the world. This TikToker however decided to hold on to their money when their bartender was in fact a robot.

User @Uptin said that they don't mind giving a 10% tip but decided not to when their robot bartender shamelessly asked for one.

“I normally wouldn’t mind an automatic 10% tip for making my drink but you’re a robot,” he said.

The video shows an order screen which showed not only a 10% automatic tip for the robot arm making his drink but also 8.4% tax.

The video then zooms in to the back showing how the robot was making their drink.

To add salt to the wound, the ice machine was also broken, meaning none of their drinks had any.

With no option to opt out of the payment, one user remarked this was similar to the 'convenience fees' that often come with online ticket purchases.

Another added that tipsy customers would be more likely to not notice the extra charges being taken from them on the screen.
