While most kids his age were busy thinking about toys and cartoons, 11-year-old Ryan was preoccupied with memories of a past life.

Yes, you read that right. Ryan, who was born and raised in Oklahoma, began sharing details about a life his parents knew nothing about when he was just three years old.

Over the next few years, Ryan continued to share these vivid recollections of what seemed like another life—one that belonged to a Hollywood actor who passed away decades earlier.

In a 2015 interview, Ryan explained how he had clear memories of living in Hollywood during the 1940s and 1950s. One of the more unusual stories he shared involved getting punched by one of Marilyn Monroe's bodyguards.

Born in 2004, Ryan even mentioned that he remembered "going towards the light" after his previous life ended.

According to him, he used to be an actor named Marty Martyn, who worked as a movie extra and later became a successful Hollywood agent.

Marty Martyn led quite the glamorous life in New York. He was married several times and loved vacationing in places like Paris.

He passed away at 61 years old in 1964, following a brain hemorrhage.

Jump forward to the 2000s, and young Ryan would often plead with his mother to take him to Los Angeles so he could "visit his other family."

He would even wake up in the middle of the night shouting "action," like he was still on a movie set.

Intrigued by her son's strange stories, Ryan's mom decided to borrow a Hollywood book from the local library.

She was left speechless when her son recognized actor George Raft in a photograph, telling her, "Hey Mama, that's George. We did a picture together. And Mama, that guy's me. I found me."

Ryan’s claims caught the attention of many. At the age of six, a documentary team helped him meet Marty’s real daughter.

Amazingly, Marty's daughter confirmed that much of what Ryan said about her father’s life was spot on.

Dr. Jim Tucker, a child psychiatrist, weighed in on the idea of reincarnation, saying there could be some validity to Ryan's story.

"The world just doesn't work as we think or assume it does," he said. "The cases I have examined don't come under a normal explanation of how we perceive the world."

After looking into Ryan's claims, Tucker found that 55 of the things Ryan said about Marty’s life were accurate.

Although Ryan’s earlier memories were incredibly detailed, they began to fade as he grew older.
