Her sister appeared to make a comment about her ex-step father Ashton Kutcher
Scout Willis Responds After Sister Tallulah Makes 'Private' Remark About Former Stepfather Ashton Kutcher
Scout Willis has broken her silence following a cryptic social media post from her sister, which many think was aimed at Ashton Kutcher, their mom’s ex-husband.
Over the years, Demi Moore has been in a number of public relationships starting with Freddy Moore in 1981, and later, a long marriage to Bruce Willis that lasted from 1987 to 2000.
Demi shares three daughters with Bruce Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout LaRue Willis. Later, she had another significant relationship with actor Ashton Kutcher, which lasted from 2005 until their split in 2013.
Recently, Tallulah Demi and Bruce’s middle daughter posted something online that fans believe was indirectly referring to Kutcher, though it wasn’t outright stated.
It all started after Gwyneth Paltrow uploaded a video on Instagram promoting her latest podcast. In the clip, she talked about reflecting on the real parts of step-parenting—the awkward bits, the lovely moments, and everything in between.
She shared: "We talk about the missteps, the rituals, and the truths that helped us build a blended family that feels uniquely, imperfectly ours. It's layered, evolving, and deeply human."

In the comments, Tallulah chimed in with a direct response: "I have a lot to say on this! Especially how to move through an ex-step parent."
When a follower asked if she meant Kutcher, she responded: "This maybe should have been a private message lol but yes I have personal experience with this."
She also followed up by saying the topic is really important, adding that nobody needs to play the villain in order for healing to happen. “There’s room for everyone,” she said.

After the comment picked up attention online, Scout Willis addressed it during a red carpet appearance at the premiere of The Carters.
Now 33, Scout said she hadn’t actually seen the post, but she completely agreed with the idea that healing doesn’t require a “bad guy.”
She shared with Entertainment Tonight: "No, and I don't think so, that's not the way I hold it, my mom holds it. My family, I think since my parents divorced when I was young, and it's always been handled with absolute grace and love and I think that really is the way forward for everything, it's just like putting the children first and just handling everything with a lot of mutual respect."
During the same interview, Scout also opened up about her bond with her father, Bruce Willis. Since his aphasia and dementia diagnosis, the family has been surrounding him with love and care.
When asked what it meant to see her dad happy these days, Scout responded: "It means everything."
She continued: "I think we all get so much from the connections we have with our parents as we get older and seeing them as people enjoying their lives,"

This isn’t the first time Tallulah has spoken about her experience during the time Demi was dating Kutcher. In 2023, she opened up about it on the reality series Stars On Mars.
She recalled: "It was like 2003, my mom had just started dating Ashton."
"It was that moment, a lot going on and I really went inside of myself, and that did send me into like a total dumpster fire. It was really hard and I'm still unpacking."
"However, I found the other side of that, which is like I really love myself now and I love my family."
In her memoir Inside Out, Demi also talked about how difficult the relationship was. She revealed that she “went into contortions” trying to be the kind of woman Ashton wanted, even admitting in an interview that she felt “addicted” to him during their time together.
