Shameless Youths Ransack Wawa Store And Twerk On The Counter

Young people are seen in a video ransacking a shop in the US and delighting in their shocking behavior by twerking in front of horrified customers.

In the video, which CBS journalist Steve Lindsay posted on Twitter, the rowdy gang of over 100 troublemakers can be seen causing havoc in a Wawa convenience store in northeast Philadelphia at around 8.20 p.m. on Saturday (September 24).

Before one furious teenager was caught on camera twerking on the counter, teens were seen throwing food and drinks at one another and rushing through the store.

Shoppers on Roosevelt Boulevard watched in terror as the chaos broke out inside, and one employee was seen recording the crazy event from behind a sandwich counter.

The employee was heard yelling: "You’re all stupid, For real. You’re all stupid, ugly, broke.”

Since then, a separate clip has shown the aftermath of the rampage, in which the store looks to have been completely destroyed.

The floor is covered in shattered shelves, trash, and objects that were hauled down from the shelves.

The New York Post reports that vandals were seen yelling, cursing, and fighting one another in the parking lot, indicating that the young people proceeded to cause mayhem even outside of the store.

According to Philadelphia police, when they arrived on the scene, they discovered over 100 young people stealing and mistreating store goods inside the Wawa.

Although they separated the crowd and determined there were no injuries at the scene, the authorities did not make any arrests.

More than 238,000 people have seen the video that was posted to Twitter, called the teenagers "thugs" in the comments, and expressed shock that no charges were made.

One user said: "Thugs."

Another added: "No arrests? Why?"

A third commented: "Whoever is identified should get some jail time and parents should pay for the damages."
