When people give in their dogs to shelters, it's usually done with a lot of tears and hugs. After all, no one wants to part ways with an animal they've bonded with for so many years. But not everyone is as compassionate to their animals. Many of them dump their dogs at the front door and then drive away without a word to the staff. But this man definitely takes the cake as being one of the cruelest people in the world

A man was turning in his pit bull dog Jack to a shelter. The dog knew that something was up and started to cry, aware that this wasn't one of their usual stops. But instead of trying to comfort his dog, the man laughed at his whimpers.

Talk about being unempathetic! Jack was left at the shelter around Christmas day, so he had no family to spend it with or offer him any toys.

The staff wanted to turn Jack's life around, and spread his story throughout social media in order to gain him some attention.

Thankfully, Bullies and Buddies and the Wags With Love rescue societies both pitched their efforts together to get Jack into a safe place.

People were also pouring in to adopt poor Jack, so that meant putting him through temperament tests to make him suitable for his new family. Hopefully, through their efforts, they'll be able to find him a loving forever home some day. Share away, people.
