Some Guys Are Finally Learning That Fake Eyelashes Exist And It's Funnier Than It Should Be

When you're so fully tuned in to the big, beautiful world of online makeup tutorials, it can be hard to remember that not everybody is as big of a makeup expert as you. A girl shared on Twitter the meltdown two guys had when they discovered false eyelashes existed.

Jade Zanatta, a student at the University of Victoria in Canada, was hanging out with two guys when they asked her how she had grown her eyelashes "so much longer and darker since the last time" they had seen her.

"I explained to them that they were fake," but they only grew even more confused and curious, Zanatta said.

So Zanatta showed the guys how to apply the eyelashes.

She first filmed herself explaining that false eyelashes are glued on.

One of the boys responds incredulously, "Why would you do that?!"

She replies, "Have you never heard of gluing them on?" before saying, "Watch this," and peeling off one set of lashes.

Luckily, she captured their mystified reactions in a video that was shared on Twitter by one of her friends.
