The longest I've ever gone without seeing my parents is eight weeks. They went on a (too long, if you ask me) holiday and, when they got back, the first thing my mum said was "alright?" with a slight smile and then she complained that I hadn't wiped the kitchen work tops properly. It's a similar situation with my dad but he was annoyed that I hadn't replaced the beer of his that I drank. Love 'em.

Hadi, from Indonesia, on the other hand, went three years without seeing his parents as he went to a university in London. On top of that, he also lost a significant amount of weight so looked a little different.

What a lovely video. I love how the dad immediately makes himself at home by taking his kids' food. My only qualms with it are that Hadi is seemingly filming himself sleeping and at one point I swear he's wearing leather trousers each to his own, I guess?
