When most of us see a spider, we freak out and look for the closest thing we can find to kill it. Many of us do not realize how beneficial spiders are to our environment. A lot of spiders are useful for keeping away even worse predators, but do we care? Maybe after seeing these posts, you might change your mind about these eight-legged creatures.
Looking For Shelter
Spiders come into our homes, most of the time, just to find a warm shelter when it is cold outside. Or, they are looking for a cool place to chill out when it is too hot outside. Just like people, the elements can make them uncomfortable. But, do we care? No. We just try to squish them as fast as possible.
A Gift
Have you ever really taken the time to look at a spider web? They are beautiful works of art with some incredibly intricate details that we should admire. Instead, we grab a broom and brush them away with no thought as to how much time and effort their creators took to make them.
Life Savers
Spiders may not be fun to look at, but they are quite useful to us. If you are allergic to wasps and bees, these spiders could be saving your lives. And, what do you do to thank them? You kill them. Shame on you.
Good Looking Out
While spiders may be intimidating, they really are looking out for us. Think of how your life would be without spiders to kill off the mosquitos that carry these deadly viruses. Next time you see one, you should say thank you.
That's Love
Unless you are a fantastic singer, no one really wants to hear you sing. Spiders appreciate even the most untalented people. Without us, they would have no real joy in their little lives. Why would you take that away from them?
Fierce Protectors
Spiders show their appreciation for your home by protecting you and your things from other nuisance pests like ants and flies. Having a couple of spiders in your home can keep them away, and you would be much happier. Can't you see that? Don't torture them. They are just trying to help you.
Gift Givers
Sure, they do not give the best gifts, but at least they try. They do better than that deadbeat boyfriend of yours. The least you can do is give them a nice comfortable place to live. You could also stop screaming every time one comes in the room. It scares them.
Safe House
If this is not enough to make you rethink your stance on spiders, we do not know what will. You are just selfish. How about the next time you see a spider, you say Thank You. If you really do not want it in your home, simply catch it and let it go. Killing them is so unnecessary.
