According to the mom, a stranger approached her daughter at the coffee shop when she was doing her homework. A Texas mom is all praises for the quick thinking of a Starbucks barista after they reached out to her daughter secretly with a hidden message asking her if she felt safe with a man who was talking to her.
Mom took to Facebook to share that her daughter, who is at the age of a high-school student went into the Starbucks coffee shop on Staples Street and S. Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi when she was approached by a man.

The man was a stranger to her but still, he approached her.
According to the mom, she was doing her homework when the man came up to her. It was at this time the coffee shop staff intervened with the pretense of an order to ask if she is ok and if she needs help?
In her Facebook post, the girl’s mother wrote: "She was sitting at her table alone studying and this man came by and noticed what she was studying and wanted to talk to her about it.

"He, I think, just kind of became really loud and animated about it.”
After witnessing the situation, the staff went about to do their work and came back to her with ‘an extra hot chocolate that someone forgot to pick up’ so that they could get a message to the young girl.
The note read: "Are you okay? Do you want us to intervene? If you do, take the lid off the cup."
