#1 Kristopher Hudson
Kristopher Hudson, 18-years-old, works at Walmart in Bryant, Arkansas, earning money for college, but he does something else with his paycheck too.
#2 Helping People
Kristopher was taught as a kid by his deceased mother to lend a hand and encourage other people, and he enjoys working at Walmart because it allows him to help others. He says the best feeling you'll ever have is when you get to help someone else out.
#3 Back To School Project
Walmart stores have paired up with a few organizations, working together to get school supply donations for kids who aren't as fortunate as others. Kristopher's store was running a Back To School project where people could donate supplies to children in need.
#4 His Own Donations
He plans on attending Pulaski Tech in North Little Rock this Fall semester, and his tuition will be costly, but he still manages to help others. Every week Kristopher donates to the cause out of his own paycheck, by purchasing as many school supplies as he can and adding them to the collection for needy children. One week he spent his last $66 buying 309 products and donating them to the United Way organization.
#5 A Very Hard Worker
Kristopher believes that everybody can do their part to make the world a better place for all. "I want to get the world to be a little happier. I want to make people smile," he said.
#6 Inspiring Others
He's not only encouraging kids to go to school and have fun, but his actions have encouraged others to donate to the cause. Store assistant manager, Ty McCollum was shocked to learn that his hard working employee was spending his well-needed college money on others. He believes it has inspired others to do the same thing, saying, "by others seeing him do that, well they think maybe I can chip in two or three dollars to help out."
#7 Stocking Shelves
Although he may appear to be just another stock boy, Kristopher is much more than that. His reward in return for being so caring and thoughtful is worth so much more than a paycheck.
