Stray Dog Walks Into Police Station And Is Never The Same!

#1 Malnourished and abused, Gorgi approached a Puerto Rico Police command center in the city of Bayamón.

The officers stationed there were surprised by how friendly the stray dog was, despite hints that he had a difficult past.

"He approached frightened and was looking for affection and protection," Sgt. Tony Montesinos explained. "We gave him food and water that evening and after eating he stayed with us awhile and left."

Amazingly, the next day the little dog came back and this was the day his life changed forever.

#2 Gorgi came back.

Seeing how insistent the dog was to be around them, and enjoying every moment of his loving company too, the officers decided to rescue Gorgi off the streets. They even pooled their money together to get him in for a checkup at the vet.

#3 They put him to work!

Given that Gorgi had come to think of the place as home, and the cops his friends, it only made sense that the dog get a job on the force working as the station's surveillance dog.

#4 He's become the station mascot.

Gorgi helps to reduce stress the officers have to deal with at work and he looks like he's doing a pretty good job!
