Teacher has gone viral for good reason
A Ghanian teachers facebook post has gone viral for good reason and won hearts of many people.
Sekyedumase Senior High School teacher Mr. Hottish wrote on his Facebook page: "Teaching of ICT in Ghana's school is very funny. ICT on the board paa. I love ma students so have to do wat will make them understand Wat am teaching."
lack of equipment
The schools have the shortage of resources and equipment. So being a visual graphics student itself he came up with the idea to draw Microsoft office on the chalkboard to teach the students. His Facebook post has gained more than 1,000 shared in the past two weeks.
Way of presenting
"Every teacher has a way of presenting his subject to his students. This is my way," he told Bored Panda.
He added:
"I do it to make my students understand what Iām teaching. At least to give a picture of what they will see assuming they were behind a computer. I do make sure they understand everything well before they leave the class."
Make ICT better
When asked why schools don't have computers in 2018? He replied: The government is helpful and I believe in them, they are trying to make ICT better for the teachers and students.
We need well-equipped infrastructures and teaching and learning aids, and a government who has education at its heart"
Donation offer
He receives offer of the donation from around the world after his post went viral. He said, "There are many schools facing this same problem, I can also help out and give some of the donations to them, so they can also benefit from teaching ICT."
