It will happen at some point in your child's life. You will tell them to do something and then your partner will turn around and tell them something contrary to what you just told them. It's just the way it is.

Children's toys are some of the evilest creations there are. They make all sorts of annoying noises that will drive you crazy if you let them. On more than one occasion I know I have removed the batteries from a toy and feigned ignorance as to why it stopped working. You just have to in order to keep your sanity sometimes.

When it's time to clean it can really be annoying when you have kids. You tell them to help you clean up and they spend more time messing stuff up that you just picked up. #4 Stress eating is real.

Kids are stressful. They are always ramped up and full of energy. Once they are finally asleep that's when you can try to de-stress. This often happens via stress eating. What fun.

#5 Time for fun in the bedroom.

Once you have kids, fun in the bedroom takes on a whole new meaning. Instead of having fun sexy time with your spouse, you have fun sleepy time. Getting more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep in a night is rare. Getting a full 8 hours is almost completely unheard of.

#6 They are so easy to defeat.

Kids think that they are so smart but what they don't realize is that in most cases their parent is much smarter. Parents are masters at feigning giving up the upper hand only to get their way when it's all said and done.
