#1 "Oi! There's no ring in my donuts..."

Things started so simply. That phrase is innocent enough. It doesn't seem like it's about to lead into the latest chapter in the beautiful and sometimes savage customer service history on Twitter, does it? You'd be wrong.

British supermarket Morrisons was on the receiving end of an unusual customer complaint late last week. Twitter user @PeeWeeMFC75 had purchased sugar ring doughnuts only to find there was no ring in them. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue. No ring means more bang for your doughnut buck, right? Unfortunately, it seems that he had a particular NSFW use in mind for the sweets he had purchased. Let's just say he wasn't shy about tweeting his issue to the grocer.

#2 Well, I can see how this could be a problem.

Under normal circumstances, there's no way a grocery store would respond to a complaint like that.

#3 Thankfully, Twitter is the Wild Wild West of customer service, and Morrison's responded with a single brilliant word.

*slow clap*

#4 @PeeWeeMFC75 wasn't about to let Morrisons have the last word, so he returned fire.

Speaking of fire...

Morrison's is obviously deeply committed to the customer experience. Their response was classic and lead to an exchange you have to read to believe:

#6 Typical. Blame the woman.

#7 I don't know who Cam is, but that's some pretty solid advice-giving.

#8 All's well that ends well?

Typically grocery stores don't give out sexual advice, but in this case we're glad Morrison's broke with tradition.
