A mother with a tattoo addiction said that she was "forced" to attend her child's nativity play from the outside window.

Due to her unusual appearance, Wales-based Melissa Sloan, 45, is frequently the target of harsh online and offline jokes from trolls.

The mother-of-two recently admitted that her intentions to go out on Christmas Day were disrupted when she was supposedly barred for her excessive tattoos.

But Melissa's holiday season is getting worse because she claims she was forced to watch her kids' Christmas performance via the school window.

The outcast mother explained in an exclusive interview with Daily Star how prejudice persists even during the most "wonderful" seasons of the year.

Melissa claimed: "No Christmas parties and when I go to my child's school I don't get invited.

"They said once for me to go to the back garden and look through the class window they told me to do so.

"The teachers told me to do that, that's why I don't go to the school play."

Melissa is regrettably unable to attend more events at the school than only the nativity each year.

As she waits at home alone, she has to rely on her lover Luke to step in for her.

"He's [Luke] going tonight to the kids' fayre as I can't go there as I'm not wanted", the mum claimed.

"I feel so jealous as I can't go there and to the Christmas fayre as I know what they're [teachers and parents] like towards me."

Melissa is putting the needle down for her tattoos so she can spend the holiday season with her family.

"I don't think I'll be having one [tattoo] around Christmastime I'll leave that as it's our time. I'll be selfish if I have one around Christmas.

"It's their [the children's] time, it's not about me.

"I'll go for the glory after that, I can't wait to get back to normal."
