Tattoos That Are Works of Art

This gorgeous sleeve and leg tattoo in black and white is such a great look. We especially love the blending where the flourishes meet the faces and the fact that the pattern on the arm and leg repeat themselves.

A floral shoulder tattoo, once again in black and white looks even better when you notice the floral emblems across her fingers. Some call florals cliche, we call them classic.

A more tribal look here with some tasteful punctuation of colors. We love that she kept the balance of color right considering how thick the lines of her tattoos are.

This is some perfectly balanced placement. A sleeve that is lighter at the top with a neck tattoo, all in greyscale with a small touch on her thigh.

Once again, the color balance is what needs to be commended here. People often get carried away and there is no cohesion between the tattoos they get. This one has been well planned.

We don't know whether she got all her tattoos at the same time but the way the lion, feather and roses blend into one another are a great look. Also, the placement of the quote means that it doesn't take away from the entire piece and is the only one that can be seen when is clothed.

These are some daring lines. We love how large she went with the patterns. The peacock father alone takes up the breadth of her arm and the large floral knee tattoo looks so different from what you see normally.

We're huge fans of perfectly balanced colors. As we've said above, maintaining cohesion between pieces is something that really brings your tattoo art to the next level and she does it amazingly well. E.T. and us approve.

This tattoo is the kind where we would ask for a story. While not all tattoos have deeper meanings, we feel like there's one here. We love the way she breaks the art styles along her arms with the simple and elegant bracelets.

Mandalas are often underrated but she shows us how to do them well. Done in a kaleidoscopic way, they have enough negative space going on between them that they don't feel too overbearing on the arm. Truly a feat.
