One friend was knocked unconscious, while the other bled heavily from shattered vertebrae and broken bones.

Kennedy, however, was flung 30 feet into the air and landed on the power line.

Surprisingly, she believes this ultimately saved her life.

You might wonder why she would be thankful for ending up on a power line.

Incredibly, the main artery in her leg was pinched off by the wire, and the main artery in her arm was cauterized when she was electrocuted by the line.

"So I was confused and everyone was just looking at me and not getting me down. And trying to like stay alive, because I remember I knew if I cried, that was it for me," she recalled.

"I've never been a big crier, I hate crying, I just feel weak. So I knew if I started crying, I would be done. I knew if I cried, that would have been it for me."
